    Description

    RUSTIC FINISH
    For this finish we heat the copper sheet for a long time at extreme temperatures which brings out the rich coloration and movement you see beneath the rich patina we apply on top.
    After heating, we hand hammer each piece using a traditional 'Tinner's' hammer which adds texture while retaining a relatively flat surface, each strike mark is about the size of a nickel. We do add a coat of wax to the copper so, if you're planning on using a more permanent sealant, please advise when you place your order so we don't put it on.
    We use 16oz copper which is commonly referred to as construction or roofing copper. It is 99.9% pure copper and is resilient enough for countertops, bar tops and many other applications. Cutting is easy using a pair of tin-snips which are available to hardware stor
